Air quality

Over the years, the Airport has launched several air quality monitoring campaigns aimed at detecting the main pollutants inside and outside the airport territory. Control units have been placed to monitor pollutants like sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, particulate matter and benzene. These campaigns highlighted the compliance with the limits imposed by the current Italian regulation in almost all cases, with concentration levels being in line with those detected by the other ARPAC control units, wherever they are not lower.
