Air quality

Over the years, the Airport has launched various air quality monitoring campaigns aimed at identifying the main pollutants inside and outside the airport complex. Control units have been positioned to monitor pollutants including sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, particulate matter and benzene. In almost every case, these campaigns demonstrated that the provisions of current Italian regulations had been maintained, and that concentration levels were in line with, if not lower than, those of other ARPAC control units. For further information, please see the results of the 2015/2016 Campaign.
